I work at a large human services agency in downtown Boston (which prefers that we not name-drop the place in stuff not directly related to work). Out my window I can now see the North End. Previously, I could see the elevated I-93 expressway and elevated green line trolley tracks. During 2004 and 2005 I watched the tracks and expressway get demolished and moved into a tunnel as part of the Big Dig, and gradually this view opened up.”
